Appraiserline provides access to network of local Real Estate Appraisers to banks, mortgage lenders, attorneys, homeowners, and REALTORS®. Chicago Appraisals, LLC operates the consumer real estate web site, www.appraiserline.com. Chicago Appraisals, LLC. owns and operates a network of seven divisions in specific geographic areas. The network was created to provide consistent appraisal service area coverage. Chicago Appraisals, LLC owns the following websites: appraiserline.com, chicagoappraisals.com, orlandappraisals.com, napervilleappraisals.com, schaumburgappraisals.com, barringtonappraisals.com and ilinoisappraisals.com.
Chicago Appraisals, LLC also owns an affiliate partner, taxappealguide.com. This strategic joint-venture of geographic partners allows us to best serve the needs of our consumers collectively. The network allows us to provide real estate valuation and appraisal services on a local level. We have successfully combined the local strength of these seven divisions to bring unparalleled local service and experience to our clients, homeowners and consumers statewide. Each division has experienced individuals who lead our day to day operations. The operations manager is responsible for all business operations within their region. This includes sales, marketing, client updates, production, customer service and technology. We count on our teams to provide top notch customer service and our preferred appraisers to deliver accurate and timely appraisal reports.
Building the network
Creating a solution to the problem
The Appraiserline network was created by a state certified real estate appraiser that has completed over 5,000 residential real estate assignments. Having completed this many appraisals, he was able to implement the most effective tools and technology and recognize the limits of his market area knowledge. Unable to accommodate everyone, everywhere, he narrowed his coverage area to a 10 mile radius from his home. Keeping abreast of school zone changes, crime, zoning laws and other factors that impact real estate values became challenging beyond those boundaries.
Then the question became; how could he continue to serve his clients and balance the driving, research and analysis, in addition to marketing for future business? In an effort to maintain the highest level of service for his clients, and recognizing his geographic limitations, he created a network of local appraisers by pre-determining their coverage area and limiting it to a 10 mile radius from their home/office. With several years of experience doing appraisals, he is able to interview appraisers to gauge and assess their ethical and professional qualifications and work history. The appraisers in our network are the most qualified because they only service the market area they are most familiar with. The geographic selection process has proven to provide very reliable and accurate valuations by the most qualified experts in the area. The Appraiserline network provides a better solution for the clients, homeowners and the appraisers. This system continues to offer consistent client and appraiser satisfaction.
Michael R. Mila, Principal
Michael Mila is the owner of Chicago Appraisals, LLC. Michael is a certified real estate appraiser in the state of Illinois and has completed over 5,000 appraisals from Southern California to Northern Illinois.
Since 1994 Michael has worked in all levels of commercial and residential real estate services. Michael has performed extensive assignments on all property types, locations and values for mortgage origination, relocation, divorce, foreclosure, bankruptcy, asset valuation, share allocation, common area valuation, trust and estate matters and has been admitted as an expert witness in court proceedings. He has served on advisory panels for real estate related issues. Michael has authored articles on valuation issues, technology, business management, techniques and market trends. Michael is a well-regarded real estate expert speaking on U.S. and local housing issues and appearing at both local and national appraiser and real estate related conferences, industry panels, trade groups and appearing regularly in media events.
