Cancellation Fees
▪ Request to cancel and no inspection has yet been completed – no fee to client. ▪ Request to cancel and appraiser has inspected, but no report has been submitted will result in standard trip fee charge to client. ▪ Request to cancel and appraiser has inspected, and report is ready to submit, will result in client being charged 75% amount of full price of product to be delivered. ▪ Requests to cancel a report submitted when product is under Appraiserline’s quality review process will result in full charge to the client and report will be delivered once approved.
Trip Fees

Payment Terms
All appraisal orders are subject to payment when order is placed or at the time of inspection. Net terms are arranged at accounting@appraiserline.com
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Certified Check, Money Order or Cash. Payment by personal check will result in a delay of the delivery of the appraisal report for 3-5 business days to ensure the funds have cleared.
Requests for appraisal services commonly known as: comp checks, value checks, pencil searches, look-ups, preliminary evaluations, study, analysis, etc. are in fact "appraisals". Anytime a licensed or certified appraiser expresses an opinion of value, a value range, a relationship such as more than or less than, or even selects a range of comparable sales, it is an "appraisal”. The USPAP prohibits accepting assignments that include reporting of predetermined opinions and conclusions or those that involve a direction in value that favors the cause of the client, attainment of a stipulated result, etc.
According to the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing Act 225 IL CS457l, it is illegal in the State of Illinois to base the appraisal fee charged for an assignment on a predetermined estimate of value. Such requests WILL NOT be accepted.
